Steve Prohm
Basketball Coach
Known as being the head basketball coach for various collegiate programs. He is best known for his times with Murray State and Iowa State.
He transferred midway through his college freshman year to the University of Alabama to pursue his passion for coaching. He became a student assistant coach and manager for the men's team for five subsequent years.
During his debut season for Murray State in 2011, he led the team to top 10 ranking and NCAA tournament appearance. He was hired as the coach of Iowa State in 2015 after 4 years at Murray State.
He was born and raised in Vienna, Virginia.
He replaced Fred Hoiberg as the head coach of the Iowa State Cyclones' mens basketball team in 2015.
