Stage and television actor who played the role of Michael Barlow on NBC's Medium and Mark Green on CBS's Numb3rs. He won a 2012 Tony Award for his role as Guy in the stage production of Once.
He attended Morehead State University and later earned an MFA from the Graduate Acting Program at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts.
Also a singer, he provided vocals for the song "A Thousand Years, Pt. 2," by Christina Perri.
He was born and raised in Ashland, Kentucky. He has been dating actress Jenna Dewan since 2018. He previously dated TV personality Michelle Beadle. His son Callum was born in March of 2020.
He appeared on a 2012 episode of the Late Show with David Letterman.
