Italian actor who's known for his work in Un viaggio chiamato amore, Le fate ignoranti, Saturn in Opposition, Radiofreccia, and Veloce come il vento.
He graduated from Bologna's Theatrical School in 1993 and began acting in theatre.
He has won several awards such as the 2017 David di Donatello award for Best Actor and the 2002 Venice Film Festival award for Best Actor.
He has two children, Athena and Orlando, with model Laetitia Casta. He married Bianca Vitali in 2015.
He acted alongside Diane Kruger in the 2005 film Les Brigades du Tigre.
