Actor best known for his role as Police Chief O'Hara in the original Batman television series.
He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II immediately after the Pearl Harbor attack; it wasn't until middle age that he began acting.
He suffered a heart attack while at a racetrack in Hollywood at age fifty-six.
His sister, a television writer, set up a scholarship in Repp's name for Lowell High School, his alma mater.
He completed many scenes for legendary director, Orson Welles' unfinished film, The Other Side of the World shortly before his death.
