Sowon

Kim So-Jung, or as she's known in GFriend, Sowon, is the sole rapper of the six piece K-Pop girl group. Since the group's debut in 2015, they have earned several new artist awards, including Best New Artist at the Seoul Music Awards.

Before Fame

In 2011, prior to her debut with GFriend, she appeared in the music video for Rainbow's single "To Me."

Trivia

In 2016, she and bandmate Yuju appeared in the SBS variety show Inkigayo. In July of 2020 the band released their third studio album, Walpurgis Night.

She has one older sister.
