Souvanna Phouma
Politician
Member of the National Progressive party who held office as the Prime Minister of Laos on four different occasions.
He started his first term as Prime Minister in 1951 and finished his last one in 1975.
He was also the leader of the Laos Neutralist faction.
He got married Aline Claire Allard in 1931; the couple had four children.
He replaced Boun Oum to start his fourth term as Prime Minister of Laos in 1962.
