Her first professional acting role was in the 1989 comedy, RobbyKallePaul.
She studied acting at the Max-Reinhardt-Seminar in Vienna. She performed in several different theaters before turning to film acting.
She was born and raised in Ottensheim, Austria.
She portrayed Heinrich Himmler's wife in the 2014 documentary, The Decent One.
