Indian singer most their for her playback singing in films like 2012's Godfather and 2015's Margarita With A Straw. She has released a number of popular songs as a solo artist, including "Mahi Bin," "Ghama Wali Shaam" and "Akhiyan Nu Rehn De."
She grew up in Delhi and Mumbai. She got her big break when Bollywood music director Sandeep Chowta spotted her at a singing competition.
She received an MTV Immies Award for her song "Babuji Zara Dheere Chalo."
She married Neeraj Sharma in 2006. Her sister is fellow playback singer Neha Kakkar.
She sang a duet with Gippy Grewal titled "Patt Lainge."
