South Korean stage and screen actor. He starred in theatrical productions of Hedwig and the Angry Inch and Jesus Christ Superstar and appeared in such television series as The Great Seer and Syndrome.
He made his professional stage debut in a 2002 production of Blue Saigon. He first became known to South Korean television viewers when he starred in the SBS television drama Golden Bride.
He co-starred with actress Seo Ji-hye in A Lone Tree, a popular South Korean melodrama.
A native of Seoul, South Korea, he trained as an actor at the Seoul Institute of the Arts.
He starred in the stage musical version of The Graduate, playing the role that Dustin Hoffman had originated in the 1967 Hollywood film.
