In Chi-hwa-seon, a 2002 feature that won Cannes Film Festival and Blue Dragon Film Awards, she played the role of So-woon.
She was born in the city of Daegu, South Korea. In January 2021, it was confirmed that she and Hyun Bin were in a relationship.
