She grew up in Finland. Her channel exploded in popularity immediately after its creation when her first video, "ASMR play with me! Guess the sound" went viral, receiving more than 3 million views.
In August 2016, she uploaded an ASMR video inspired by DC Comics character Harley Quinn.
Her first name is Janita. She has a younger sister.
She and American YouTuber Taylor Darling both specialize in ASMR videos.
