Combo guard who rose to fame playing for Louisiana State University's basketball team. While on the team he was named to the All-SEC first-team in 2020. He was selected by the Atlanta Hawks in the second round of the 2020 NBA Draft.
He began playing varsity basketball for Louisiana State University Laboratory School while in eighth grade. He was a consensus three-star recruit as a high school senior.
He was named the Academic All-American of the Year in 2020. He finished his career with LSU as a two-time academic All-American.
He has seven siblings. His parents' names are Stan and Shannon Sr.
He was drafted by the Atlanta Hawks alongside first-round pick Onyeka Okongwu in the 2020 NBA Draft.
