Tongan-born, Australian professional rugby union footballer who became known as a lock for the Waratahs and Wallabies.
He played soccer until being introduced to rugby in high school.
He decided to try to play for Australia during the 2011 Rugby World Cup instead of his native Tonga; he ended up not making the team.
He was born in 1986 in Kolonga, Tonga.
His younger brother, Lopeti Timani, became number 8 for the NSW Waratahs.
