She began her career as an interior designer, but the search for new artistic expression led her to the world of fashion.
She opened her first namesake and critically acclaimed luxury hotel in Cartagena, Colombia in October of 2009. She launched the Tcherassi Home Collection in March of 2011.
She was born in Baranquilla, Colombia, on the shores of the Caribbean.
