Gramy-Award winning African and world music percussionist who has been considered a master of the talking drum.
He was trained by his family to play drums, and became part of the Drums of Passion as his career took off.
His group Planet Drum received the first Grammy Award for Best Contemporary World Music Album.
He grew up in Eastern Nigera, Eruwa.
He collaborated with Mickey Hart on the majority of Hart's projects after the Grateful Dead.
