Before Fame

She was a computer science graduate and began her professional career in IT at Steria India Limited. She had the idea to begin her YouTube channel after watching "how to" videos during her 90-minute commute to work. 

Trivia

Her videos "How To Remove Pimples Overnight | Acne Treatment" and "5 Quick & Easy Hairstyles | Heatless Hairstyles" were her first to surpass 10 million views each. She founded the company SpiceUp Media. 

Family Life

She was raised in the town of Jhansi in Uttar Pradesh, India. She married in 2009, and moved to the United States with her husband the following year. She elected to make YouTube her full-time career in 2013 after moving back to India with family.
