A young female housewife becomes the most powerful drug trafficker in Mexico in order to protect her son and her friends. Beginning in season three, the show focuses on the life of Vicenta Rigores, AKA La Coyote, a young woman in a drug trafficking family who continues to help immigrants cross the borders of Mexico to go to the United States.
