Hosted by Neil Patrick Harris, the series sees children aged 12 and under compete in teams of three to win the "Genius Junior Grant." They answer questions based on various subjects like spelling, math and memory.

The team with the most points at the end of the main games moves on to play in a round called The Cortex where they could win up to $100,000.
