Shingo Katori

J-Pop singer, actor and television host known primarily for being a member of the Japanese boy band SMAP. He began making music as a solo artist in 2016 after the band broke up.
He and the other members of the group formed the band in 1987. Initially, their group was named The Skate Boys.
In 1988, he made his professional acting debut, and just a few years later he landed his first major role in a drama television series called Tomei Ningen.
He is a native of Yokohama, Kanagawa.
He has played music alongside Tsuyoshi Kusanagi as a member of SMAP.
