Shim Suk-hee
Speed Skater
South Korean short track speed skater who has gained fame for her international career. She won a gold medal as part of the South Korean 3000 meter relay team at the 2014 Winter Olympics before winning the overall crown at that year's World Championships.
She began short track speed skating as a hobby at age 6.
She won a gold medal in the 1,000 and 3,000 meter races at the 2018 World Championships. She won back-to-back World Cup titles in the overall category in 2012 and 2013.
She has one brother named Shim.
She and JR Celski both earned medals in speed skating at the 2014 World Championships.
