He worked as a personal trainer before appearing on The Bachelorette. He moved to Nashville to do consultant work for insurance companies.
He purchased an 1888 farm house with his father and together they fixed it up completely.
He was born in Windsor Locks, Connecticut and later resided in Nashville, TN. He and Kaitlyn got engaged in 2015 but separated in 2018.
He is good friends with fellow Bachelorette contestant, and season 20's Bachelor, Ben Higgins.
