Indian actor and politician who has won several awards for his work including the 2003 Stardust Award for Lifetime Achievement.
He studied at Patna Science College and went to the Film and Television Institute of India Pune before moving to Mumbai to start his film career.
He became a cabinet minister with the Government of India in the 13th Lok Sabha in 2003.
He was born the youngest of four sons to Bhubaneswari Prasad Sinha and Shyama Devi Sinha. He has a daughter named Sonakshi and sons named Luv and Kush Sinha.
He starred in Dev Anand's 1970 film Prem Pujari.
