He studied civil engineering at Rode Lande College, Moga and started doing small singing gigs at parties while working as a civil engineer.
He made an acting debut in the 2013 movie Oye Hoye Pyaar Ho Gya.
He was born to Sardar Balbir Singh and Sardarni Harmel Kaur and has a sister and brother.
He and Amrinder Gill both became popular Punjabi singers.
