Professional basketball player best recognized for his work with the Philadelphia 76ers of the NBA. He plays as a point guard and is known for having earned the AAC All-Rookie Team distinction at Southern Methodist University.
He played as a point guard throughout high school in Oklahoma where he earned the honor of Gatorade Player of the Year. After being named Oklahoma's Super 5 Player of the Year, he committed to Southern Methodist University. In 2016, he was a member of the US Select Team for the Goodwill Tour in Croatia. He was drafted by the Dallas Mavericks durnig the 2018 NBA draft.
He is known for having made the All-American Athletic Conference Second Team as a sophomore. He was also named to the All-AAC Second Team for a second time after his 2017 college season.
He was born and raised in Owasso, Oklahoma.
As a player for the Philadelphia 76ers, he played alongside Joel Embiid and Justin Anderson during the teams 2018 season.
