Professional midfielder and small forward that signed to play for the Richmond Football Club in 2017. He was rated a premiership player for his team in 2019 and 2020.
He was drafted as the 29th overall pick in the second round of the 2016 Australian Football League draft.
He made his professional debut in 2017 at the age of 18. He became the youngest player to debut for his club since Trent Cotchin in 2008.
He is a native of Katanning, Western Australia. His father, Darren Bolton, and his uncle Allistair Pickett are both former rugby players.
He has played alongside Jack Riewoldt and Dustin Martin as a member of the Richmond Tigers.
