She appeared in a commercial for diapers when she was less than a year old and, at age seven, joined the cast of a touring production of the popular musical Annie.
Her television credits include recurring roles on General Hospital, My So-Called Life, and Sister, Sister, and guest spots on Everybody Loves Raymond, Party of Five, and Touched by an Angel.
She was born in Elmhurst, Illinois to a family of Lebanese and Italian descent.
She appeared with Macaulay Culkin in the 1990 film Home Alone.
