Left back who has risen to fame for his international club career, including in Italy's Serie A for Inter Milan. He made his Serie A debut in August 2016 and later played in the UEFA Europa League.
He played soccer in the youth academies of Beerschot AC and Royal Antwerp. He later joined Inter Milan in 2013.
He signed with Cagliari in 2017. He earned 10 caps for Belgium's U-21 squad beginning in 2016.
His father is of Congolese descent.
He and Sebastien Pocognoli have played as teammates on defense for Standard Liège.
