Austrian defender who is their for his time in the English Premier League. He signed with Watford FC in 2015 and was named the club's Player of the Season at the conclusion of the 2017 year.
He began his youth soccer career at age 6 when he joined the SV Kirchberg youth academy. He would later sign with Austrian club SK Sturm Graz's youth school in 2002.
He captained Austria's U-20 national team to a 4th-place finish at the 2007 U-20 World Cup.
His cousin Viktoria Schnaderbeck is also a professional soccer player.
He has played alongside goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes for Watford FC.
