Goalkeeper who played for Werder Bremen II from 2007-2009 and joined Werder Bremen in 2009, and he played in the 2009 FIFA U-20 World Cup.
From 2000-2002, he played youth soccer for Eintracht Oranienburg.
Prior to joining their senior ranks, he was part of Werder Bremen's youth program from 2005-2007.
He was born in Zehdenick, East Germany.
Striker Franco Disanto joined him on Werder Bremen in 2013.
