He finished his career at Foothill High School as the leading passer in school history.
In 2013, he set a Pac-12 record by throwing for 974 yards over the course of two games.
His parents are John and Inga Mannion. His father was the head football coach at Silverton High School in Oregon.
He and Derek Anderson are two of the most highly-decorated quarterbacks in Oregon State history.
