Trumpet Player
Lead trumpeter for Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra and Grammy Award-winning collaborator.
He sang in a gospel choir as a young man and went on to attend Youngstown State University and Rutgers for music.
He has taught jazz trumpet at Oberlin Conservatory.
His grandfather played trumpet during World War II, which inspired him to take up the instrument.
He was featured on Nancy Wilson's album Turned to Blue, which won a Grammy Award in 2007.
