Film and television star who first rose to fame playing Ian Curtis in the 2002 film 24 Hour Party People. He then went on to earn roles in Prometheus, Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation, and Harry Brown. He also played Micheletto in the show The Borgias.
He studied at the Drama Centre London from 1989 to 1992.
He and actress Montserrat Lombard co-wrote the short film White and the feature film Imager.
He is originally from Bethnal Green in London, England.
In the Showtime series The Borgies, he appeared alongside Francois Arnaud and Holliday Grainger.
