Writer who is most their for his comic book writing, having written for popular comics like Batman, American Vampire and Swamp Thing. Apart from comics, he has received critical acclaim as a short story writer, particularly for his 2006 collection Voodoo Heart.
He was inspired to pursue writing after being exposed to Stephen King's Eyes of the Dragon at age nine. He later earned a Creative Writing degree from Brown University and worked at Walt Disney World for one year.
Stephen King handpicked two of Snyder's short stories, "Wreck" and "Dumpster Tuesday," for The Best American Short Stories anthology shortlist in 2007.
He has been married and has children.
He co-wrote Batman: Gates of Gotham with Kyle Higgins.
