He earned his undergraduate degree from Boise State University. He co-created his YouTube channel on October 8, 2009.
He and his wife Amber co-authored the 2010 book Fox and the Mountain - A Parable, which earned the #1 spot in Amazon's children self-esteem category. He has helped his YouTube channel earn more than 340,000 subscribers.
His four children are named Makaya, Brayler, Tayce, and Kaymen.
