Public land-grant research university located in Las Cruces, New Mexico. In 2017, the university was home to nearly 25,000 students ranging from undergrad levels to doctoral candidates. Apart from the main campus there are also four satellite branches across the state. 

Trivia

The university is home to the Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine at New Mexico State University, which is a private medical school.
