Best recognized for her role as Amrita in the Zee TV series Naaginn, she has also been seen in the shows Adalat and Mahabharat. In 2016, she also joined the cast of Naamkarann as Neela Parikh.
She got her start in entertainment winning the Miss Calcutta beauty pageant. She would then appear in small roles in a number of Bengali films before landing her TV debut in 2002.
In 2013, she became a participant on the sixth season of the reality show Bigg Boss.
She has one sibling, Somrik Ghosh.
She starred opposite Praneet Bhat and Arav Chowdharry in the 2013 television series Mahabharat.
