Her career in journalism across television, radio, magazines, newspapers, and online began in the 1990s. She is the former editor of Cosmopolitan magazine.
She was the first host of Masterchef Australia and has appeared on programs such as Channel 7′s Sunday Night, The Morning Show, Sunrise, Weekend Sunrise, Ten Network's Good News Week, The Project, 60 Minutes, and A Current Affair.
She was born one of six siblings in Canberra, Australia. She has suffered with anxiety.
She hosted an adaptation of Masterchef as Gordon Ramsay does for Fox's production of the show.
