He delivered his first sermon at age 16 and graduated from LeHigh University with a Master's Degree in Organization Leadership.
He founded his own church, the New Season Christian Worship Center and he was a member of the White House Office of Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships initiative and the President's Advisory Council on Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships under President Barack Obama.
He married his wife Eva and they have three children together.
He spoke at Donald Trump's inauguration in 2017.
