Samuel Bodman

Former Deputy Secretary of the Treasury and Secretary of Energy under President George W. Bush from 2005 until 2009.
He was a member of Alpha Sigma Phi Fraternity and the Sphinx Head Society at Cornell University, where he studied Chemical Engineering.
While head of the Department of Energy he had a budget of $23 billion and over 100,000 federal and contractor employees under him.
He has three children with his wife M. Diane Bodman.
He was appointed the 11th United States Secretary of Energy by President George W. Bush in 2005.
