Samuel Barnett
Stage Actor
British theater, screen, and radio actor. He became known for his performances in the film and stage versions of The History Boys, as well as for his roles in the Globe Theatre (London) productions of Twelfth Night and Richard III.
He trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA).
He received a 2006 Tony Award nomination for his performance in the Broadway production of The History Boys.
He and his four siblings were raised in London and Whitby, England by a Polish-Jewish father and a Quaker mother.
He appeared in the 2009 Jane Campion film Bright Star.
