American tennis player known for his dominant service game. He was ranked number 17 in the world in January, 2011 and he reached the fourth round of the U.S. Open in 2008 and 2010.
He was offered a scholarship to USC but turned it down to embark on his professional tennis career.
He set the record for most consecutive service aces when he achieved 10 straight against fellow American James Blake in a 2007 match.
His father Mike Querrey was drafted into the MLB by the Detroit Tigers.
In 2010, he defeated Andy Murray in a singles match during the ATP career finals.
