American actor who became known for his role in the hit 1980 film Flash Gordon. He also appeared in The A-Team, Code Red, and The Highwayman.
In 1975, he posed for Playgirl magazine, under the name Andrew Cooper III.
His film debut came in the 1979 romantic comedy 10, which starred Bo Derek, Julie Andrews and Dudley Moore.
He married Ramona Lynn Jones in 1992 after being married to Lynn Eriks from 1982 to 1987. He has five children.
He acted opposite Timothy Dalton in Flash Gordon.
