Soccer goalkeeper who came up through the Manchester United system, but made his professional debut in 2011 while on loan to Scunthorpe United. He's also played for Doncaster, Preston North End and Aston Villa on loan. In 2018, he signed with West Bromwich Albion.
He joined Manchester United at the youth level in 2009 and joined the senior club in 2011, but was loaned out soon after.
He's played for England at the U16, U17, U19, and U20 levels.
His father is Glenn Johnstone, who also spent time playing for Preston North End. His younger brother Max has also played for Manchester United growing up.
He became a backup to David de Gea and Sergio Romero on Manchester United.
