Celebrity makeup artist who has made a name for himself as one of the country's premiere makeup artist for African-American models, singers and actresses. He was chosen as the first African-American spokesman for Revlon and Covergirl.
He grew up in Chicago, Illinois and paid his dues working behind the makeup counter at department stores. He graduated from Percy L. Julian High School.
He is the author of the book Fine Beauty: Beauty Basics and Beyond for African-American Women (1998).
He has sisters.
His clients have included supermodels like Tyra Banks and Naomi Campbell.
