English jazz, pop, and folk vocalist and songwriter best known as a founding member of an all-female band called The Poozies. She also released several solo recordings.
During her early years, she belonged to such local rock bands as The Chapter, Manitou, and Sally Barker and The Undergraduates.
She competed on the 2014 season of the BBC's The Voice.
Her marriage to Chris Wakeford produced two sons.
She performed Joni Mitchell's their song, "Both Sides Now," on The Voice.
