American soccer player best known as a winger for Major League Soccer teams like the Portland Timbers and New York Redbulls. He began representing the U.S. internationally at the Under-20 level in 2007.
He played soccer and baseball at Patrick Henry High School in San Diego, California.
He was named 2005 Pac-10 Freshman of the Year while at UCLA.
He married actress Destiny Moniz in November 2013.
He has been teammates with midfielder Ian Christianson in New York.
