Indonesian singer and actor known first for his award-winning Duet Sang Bintang. He then went on to win the title of champion on Celebrity Jam and to become a judge on the Indonesian reality series D Academy.
Prior to embarking on his solo career, he was a member of the dangdut music group G4UL.
In 2008, he briefly entered the world of politics when he ran for vice mayor of Serang.
He was married to actress Dewi Persik from 2005 to 2007. He then married Virginia Anggraeni in 2011 who died in a tragic accident not long after.
He appeared in Celebrity Jam alongside fellow pop singer Titiek Puspa.
