Born Steven Thronson, he was an original member of the Kottonmouth Kings rap group.
He was a member of the group P.T.B. (P-Town Ballers) before the inception of Kottonmouth Kings.
He was involved in a feud with Kottonmouth Kings after his departure from the group to pursue a solo career, but they eventually resolved their differences.
His brother has gone by the stage name Big Hoss.
He toured with D12 in 2001 with his band Kottonmouth Kings; the late Deshaun Holton, a.k.a. Proof, was a member of D12 during that tour.
