Indian film actor who is best recognized for his roles in both Odia Cinema and Telugu Cinema. He is best recognized for having appeared in the films Mu Eka Tumara in 2013 for which he won a Filmfare East award for and Emiti Bi Prema Hue in 2012.
He originally studied to become an engineer at the Silicon Institute of Technology. He then started appearing in several Panjabi music videos in 2002 before making his feature film debut in 2007 when he starred in Pagla Premi.
He won the Odisha State Film Award for Best Actor for his performance in the 2007 film Pagala Premi. He is also known for having won the Tarang Cine Award in 2016 for Best Actor for his role in the film Pilata Bigidi Gala.
He was born and raised in India and his mother was the recipient of the Ladli National Media award.
He starred alongside Elina Samantaray in the 2018 feature film 4 Idiots.
