Ryo Horikawa
Voice Actor
Famous for his voice acting roles in such Japanese anime series as Saint Seiya (as the character Andromeda Shun), Dragon Ball (as Vegeta), and Detective Conan (as Heiji Hattori), he is also notable for voicing the character of Captain Falcon in the Super Smash Bros video game series.
He launched his voice acting career by contributing to the 1980s anime production Yume Senshi Wingman.
He dubbed the role of Peregrin "Pippin" Took in the Japanese version of Lord of the Rings.
Born Makoto Horikawa, he spent his early life in Osaka, Japan. He married fellow voice-over artist Hitomi Oikawa.
He and Hikaru Midorikawa are both well known Japanese voice actors.
